Hot summer days can be as dangerous for dogs as for humans. Heat stroke can occur when dog is exposure to high temperatures or left in a closed place without proper ventilation. Here are some common signs of heat stroke in dogs:

1.    Dogs normally regulate their body temperature by panting, but excessive and rapid panting can be a sign of heat stroke.

2.    Some breeds of dogs drool more than other breeds but if your dog is drooling excessively this can be a sign of heat stroke.

3.    Dogs normal gums are typically pink. If they appear bright red or pale, it may indicate heat stroke.

4.    Rapid heart rate is another common sign of heat stoke in dogs. You can check your dog's heart rate by feeling for their pulse on the inside of their hind leg.

5.    Gastrointestinal distress leading to vomiting or diarrhea in dogs is another sign of possible heat stroke.

6.    Heat stroke can cause disorientation, confusion, or stumbling.

7.    If a dog's tongue or gums appear bright red, it may be a sign of heat stroke.

8.    A dog's normal body temperature ranges from 99.5°F to 102.5°F (37.5°C to 39.2°C). If their temperature rises above this range, it can be a sign of heat stroke.
